A native of Odessa, Texas, he was initiated as Sigma Nu Zeta 272 and graduated from Texas Tech University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.  He currently lives in Austin, Texas with his wife Victoria and two sons, Xander and Charlie.
